In the widely anticipated match-up between challenger Joey Chestnut and six-time defending Champion Takeru Kobayashi at the 2007 Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Championship, the underdog Chestnut took it down ending the long rein of Kobayashi as Hot Dog King. According to ESPN, the man downed 12,540 calories over 66 wieners in 12 minutes (in your face Paris Hilton). Kobayashi caused some commotion by spitting out some of his last dog, which is illegal in this competition, and finished with a second-place total of 63 dogs. Let's just skip next year and have the heart-attack already guys!
