I'm pleased to announce the return of my favorite poker show High Stakes Poker on the Game Show Network. Featuring players such as Daniel Negreanu and Barry Greenstein (and a rumored Phil Hellmuth appearance) the show is a great look at how, as Todd Brunson described it, "real" poker is played. Cash game action in a field always thick with talent, take some time to watch this show.

P.S. This year will start out with the 'usual' $100,000 minimum buy-in but will switch to a staggering $500,000 buy-in during the season!!!!

The large buy-in segment of the season, clocking in at the staggering initial amount of $500k, is starting soon on Nov. 5th which has my interest peaked as usual (whenever very talented players up the stakes, great Poker is sure to ensue). My satellite provider brings me three satisfying episodes in a row every Monday which is sweet enough to make me forget about Monday Night Football and that's saying something! check it out, I can't wait to see Negreanu, Farha and Greenstein navigating the dangerous but ever-intriguing High Stakes Poker tables!
