interesting article on Ylon Schwartz, a Brooklyn-based Chess player who made the "november nine" (the delayed final table of this years' World Series of Poker main event). gl Ylon.

November Nine? Didn't it used to be 10 players? I assume they cut it down to 9 for the final table this year. "November Nine" does have a nice ring to it though.

Most tables are now 9-handed, especially online and at the WSOP, with some majors even limiting the FT to six players (World Poker Tour etc.). I much prefer the 9-handed table since that 10th player always seems to have Aces imo :scarymad:

So, you never are the 10th player? :-P
By the way, after looking into things more, it looks like hey went with a 10 man table and first person knocked out made it 9.
