Default Sudoku causes trial to be cancelled!

A group of jurors were caught playing Sudoku instead of taking notes...in a drug trial! here's a snippet from the article:

Emphasis mine. Wow, that's unbelievable! I love to play the game too but c'mon can't it wait? one person said they were playing their Sudoku puzzle since it helped them to concentrate....by taking their mind off the drawn out evidence proceedings
