Default Can you beat my score in electronic Yahtzee?

I used to have a high score of 648, but finally I beat it with 725 (still available on my electronic high score readout). I was just wondering if anyone had a higher score.

look at that...I see some big scores, figure out it's possible and put up a 615. I learn good 4 yahtzees but how do I miss the six at the end, I started with four of them and blanked on both rolls ooooooooooooh. you're next mr. "unofficial" 725

here's a cool pic from our newest member Swa1 who posts in his photo album, "My father plays this game all the time, and this is his highest score as of today." congratulations to Papa Swa1, looks like he is the new King of Handheld Yahtzee....until dishesandlaundry finds out and goes on a high score rampage that is will anyone be able to topple this score?

Default I have a new record to break

That 794 is really good!!! I have gotten 737 and 725 for my highest scores, but did not take pictures of them at the time. The battery went dead on the one with 737 before I took a picture, but I was able to take a picture of the 725 for the highest score (I play so much, I need two games). I will take the pictures right away next time!!! I am looking forward to having a new record to beat.

Great game, I had a couple in the 600s, didn't think 700 was possible til today. 5 yahtzees and a 91 total on the top got me a 726. Insane scores, anyone higher than us?

^^so far 794 is the all-time great to date. I did some looking around the web and on the few high-score lists I found 794 is still tops! looks like I need to go find some batteries for our game since we appear to have killed it recently

Talking Electronic Yahtzee crazy

Glad to join the chess and poker forums. A couple of months ago, I attained an all-time high of 835 on Electronic Yahtzee, Previous highs were 722, 707 and 705. Been playing about 5 years. Will post my strategies in a later post... Happy gaming, Svendalf in S.C. p.s.-my daughter's cellphone has 2 pix of 835 score - will upload it to computer and on to this site soon...

Default 835 detail

just to add- I think I had 6 yahtzees on the 835 score, but I remember being so excited I wasn't sure if it was 6 or 7....wish they would redesign/tweak the handheld so more than 4(or is it 5?) yahtzees can be on the readout...

Smile Electronic Hand Held Yahtzee High Score

Well, I've had an electronic hand-held Yahtzee game for probably 20 years. Actually, two... the first got all worn out.

About 10 years ago I got a score of 690. I've been trying to beat that for the last 10 years. I've been in the 600s a few times. You need 4 yahtzees to get in the low 600s. I think I had 5 yahtzees in that 690 game.

Tonight!! Mark the date... July 24, 2010.... not only did I get 5 yahtzees, but I got a score of 733! BTW, the display will show only up to 4 hash marks for the yahtzees but you get the correct total score.

Has anyone gotten a higher score???

I'm thinking of retiring the game.

733 tonight... took me almost 20 years.... had 690 about 10 years ago. I see that someone got 835! I'll be 69 years old next week. I wonder if I have enough time left to beat that one???

Default High (very high) Yahtzee Score!

I, too, am somewhat addicted to this game and play it to relax, have a little fun, and challenge myself to seek an always higher score. My current record is 828. That score took 6 yahtzees in one game, plus the game was excellent otherwise. It adds up like this: 6 yahtzees = 550 (50 for the first, plus 500 in bonus points), added to regular score of 278. I play at least 1000 games a week and have done so for years. Being new to the forum, let me ask some questions. I seem to hit exactly 722 every 1000 -1500 games or so - does anyone else have that experience? Are there any positions where you feel your odds are better for a certain number? For instance, numbering the positions 1 thru 5 , L to R, position 1 seems best for a 2 or a 5. Position 4seems best to produce a 4. I've gone thru about 3 game units now and they are getting quite expen$ive on eBay! If you know of a better source please let me know!

Hi Dave, nice score!

If the Yahtzee algorithm is truly random as it should be, the dice should roll out per the standard dice probabilities. our human brains will sometimes pick up on various patterns, though, even if there isn't much evidence to support them. I always seem to Yahtzee on 1's or 6's and I'm pretty sure I've never hit one with 2's. Maybe one day

Welcome to the forums, and feel free to post a screenshot of your high scores!

Talking Yahtzee Freak!!!

*****Finally I get the chance to respond!!! I've been play Electronic Yahtzee many times each day for the last 3-4 years, often when sitting on the throne...LOL...
I got a 722 once, so maybe it isn't an anomaly, but then I've seen many numbers appear more frequently than others in many areas of play; I suppose that anyone who plays often enough knows the standard 95 game start; Full House+Small Straight+Large Straight at the start of a game. The number 86 comes up a lot in the course of gameplay, and I've taken to grimacing a bit whenever it does... There are several others...
As far as a high score, last year in the springtime I got an 835 - since my previous highs were 722 and 707, I was extremely jazzed!!! I got my daughter to take 3 pix on her cellphone, but then she bought a new one & lost track of the phone...
Next time I get a score like that I'll immediately upload it to the PC for future showing online...
It's an addictive game, as I'm sure anyone in this thread knows, and the thrill of getting a Yahtzee, especially 2 or 3 in a row, is always a hoot!!! But getting a score of 300 or higher at a minimum is my goal when I play these days - I know when the game has no chance to achieve that score & I reset to a fresh one when all hope is lost. Sometimes I valiantly work my way close to the end, when my only hope for 300+ is to get the 1st Yahtzee of the game, then another Yahtzee to fill in the last slot in the current game.
One thing is sure - without at least ONE Yahtzee in a game, you have little chance of getting 300+. The earlier in the game the better, as it were...
All 4 now, on to 1,000 someday ( a fellow can dream )...

Default A Surprising High Score

A couple of weeks ago I scored a 692 on electronic yahtzee game. The first two rolls of the game were yahtzees. I was surpised.

that's always a good start!

I don't think I've ever started with two yahtzees in a row but I've had a few quick ones right off the bat...my only problem is that things usually go downhill quick since apparently I can only roll a full house or straight AFTER I've already used that slot to dump a bad roll bahhhh

Default Good score!

Well, here's a game of 744! My actual high score from over a year ago was 828 but regrettably I didn't take a picture. So, I'm attaching a pic this time and just hope I can beat my 828 some day!
